Silhouette® Shadings at a Glance

 

Silhouette® Shadings have two layers of Translucent or Room Darkening fabric separated by a series of floating, soft fabric vanes. When Vanes are closed the shades provide privacy and 99% UV protection. When Vanes are open the shades diffuse the light, giving the room a soft glow.

Cleaning and care

 

Regular light dusting with a feather duster maintains a like-new appearance.

Some fabrics can be spot cleaned (check with your stockist). Prepare a solution of warm water and a mild detergent. Dampen a clean white cloth in the solution and wring it out. Dab the spot with the dampened cloth until it is gone. Blot gently to avoid creasing or damaging the fabric. Do not rub the fabric. Allow the shade to dry in the completely lowered position.

Professional ultrasonic cleaning services are an effective means of cleaning Silhouette® Shadings fabrics.

A child safe option featuring a continous cord loop with a mounted cord tensioner. To lower your shades or tilt the vanes, pull down on the rear of the cord loop, to raise your shades pull on the front.

Ergonomically designed, this retractable wand system controls vane adjustment and the raising of shades by pulling the wand straight down with short strokes. To lower the shading, pull the wand out toward the room and with one click, the shading will release.

PowerView® Remote Control

The PowerView® Remote Control module provides control at the touch of a button. Personalised control options. The Remote Control Module allows for shades to be operated in groups or individually through the proprietary RF signal. The Remote Control Module is available in black or white and features an array of functions including six programmable channels, stop buttons, vane open/close buttons and a favourites position which defaults to 50% open. The Remote Control module can be teamed up with either a hand held Pebble® or Surface Wall Mount.
